I would be the first to admit that I violently disagree with the term "best practice" - "best' is undeniably linked to a particular situation. Sometimes, however, good advice is universal. Unfortunately, it is peddled as "best" practice and that is where it gets into trouble. Fortunately, we will not let these semantics and omissions get in the way of our learning so here goes!
