Innovation is the lifeblood of leadership. Innovate or perish is the mantra every CIO must chant or better yet live by! But innovation by its very nature is dangerous - a double edged sword that can kill your career. (who cares for the shareholders and their money that you will end up wasting before being wasted. SOX will take care of that. Right?). Hopping on a bandwagon is the imperative because you just can't wait at the station anymore. So when do you hop on and when you hop off? Is there a manual available somewhere? I have not seen one but we plan on discussing this topic in depth. In the interim, here is a very good article that should get you thinking!
