The value of enterprise architecture is apparent to many - perhaps all - senior executives. After all, if they would not live in a house that has not been architected then it does not make sense for them to accept a business without enterprise architecture! Alas, the story is more complicated in real life. Senior leadership wants to see a business case for Enterprise Architecture.

There are many theories and frameworks being proposed to measure the value of enterprise architecture. In this, our version of "no framework left behind," why should balanced scorecard (EA) be the red haired step child?
