Outsourcing Governance

This paper presents an excellent discussion on the issue of managing outsourcing relationships aka outsourcing governance.

Today, outsourcing is a way of life in the many organizations - it is a virtual given that organizations of all sizes will outsource functions and processes soon. So, time for the next question: how is it working out?

This, as it turns out, is also the $64,000 question because the full potential of outsourcing is not being realized. The problem? Governance.

This paper presents an excellent discussion on the issue of managing outsourcing relationships. It takes a holistic view to the issue of governance and then connects outsourcing governance to corporate and IT Governance. Excellent start but a lot more needs to be discussed.
