Post merger integration is a challenge under any circumstance but even more so in cross border transactions – difficulty in getting timely and accurate information combined with cultural differences being the contributing factors. However, these challenges are not insurmountable – proper focus on strategic operations, planning way ahead of the actual transaction and, speed and style of integration can make all the difference.
