The New IT Management Strategy
This paper introduces a new IT Strategy framework - Flexible Information Technology Tools and Strategies (FITS). FITS is a compilation of existing best practices and methods incorporated into a unique rapid implementation framework.
This capstone assesses the current hurdles faced by Chief Information Officers in meeting business unit objectives and maximizing organizational efficiencies. A review of existing management structures reveals operational gaps that are impacting CIOs’ ability to work efficiently and effectively. To resolve shortcoming of existing models the Flexible Information Technology Tools and Strategies (FITS) framework has been developed. FITS is a compilation of existing best practices and methods incorporated into a unique rapid implementation framework. It is intended to provide IT organizations and their executives with modular, simple, proven methods and tools for meeting their clients’ needs.
