 This article discusses the transition of executives from large to small corporations and presents a framework to help evaluate each candidate’s “fit” in the smaller organization.

 The executive transitions paper is based on the results of a survey of "senior executives successfully transplanted from profitable, well-established organizations with more than 1,000 employees, to younger firms with fewer than 100 employees – firms moving along the growth curve from planned loss to profit."
