I believe that business leaders of all shades and at all levels are seriously concerned about IT Costs. I also believe that the reason for this is as much in their ignorance as it is in IT's failure to deliver on key projects. The latter highlights the issue of cost. But there is an even more important reason: IT leadership has not done a good job of communicating IT's value. If they did, this would not be a cost but a value issue.
